Wow!  We have had an incredibly busy 6 weeks and I apologize for the lag in blogging.  I’ll give you a short recap of life in the Kennedy household these last few weeks….

We start with the weekend of May 22.  We were honored to plan/coordinate Alex and Danielle’s blue and white spring wedding at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.  These two were so sweet and a dream to work with!  Stay tuned for their full-length highlight in the near future!

The following weekend (Memorial Day), we skipped our annual lake trip to continue work on our house.  We got some things finalized, cleaned up and prepared to move….

Which we did the following weekend!  June 6th was our first night in our “new” house and we were ecstatic!  Although we are still not completely moved in, we are able to sleep, shower, dress, and cook at our Church Street home!  I can’t wait to post pictures…once we get everything settled, of course!

The weekend of June 12th, we traveled to Savannah with Clay’s sister, Jenni and her husband Trey.  We had a great time touring the city (on Segways!!) and relaxed the following 2 days on Tybee Island.  A much needed vacation for all, I believe!

June 19th – John and Ashley’s garden-themed wedding at Embassy Suites.  We worked with some incredible vendors and their bridal party was spectacular!  Stay tuned for more pictures, vendor list and details of this beautiful event.

The weekend of the 26th, we crashed.  =)  I spent some time at the pool and Clay worked a bit around the house.  Otherwise, we stayed close to home.

As the weekend of the 4th approached, we started preparing for a fun-filled weekend at the lake with family and friends.  We ate well, soaked up lots of sun and had a wonderful time on the water!  I apologize for the fuzzy picture but he was moving SO fast, it was hard to get a decent shot from the back of the boat!  🙂

Phew.  I feel better.  Stay tuned for detailed wedding posts and all the exciting summer events we are working on!
