We are exhausted!  Clay and I had a wonderful time today in Manchester at the Southern Middle TN Bridal Fair!  The fair had a great turnout with lots of eager and interested brides.  We worked hard on our setup and design and hope that our clean, no – frills approach helped us stand out!  (P.S. We would love some feedback from anyone reading that attended the show!!!)

Our linens came from Classic Party in Nashville; our flowers from Henry’s in Murfreesboro.  We both gravitate towards vintage things and LOVED our trunks that held our marketing booklets! =)

We aren’t the pushy type but had a great time talking to the brides-to-be, their mothers, and even the occasional groom about our services, packages and the details of their big day.  Our candy bar was also a popular feature with many brides interested in renting our “bar” for their big day!  The chocolate covered espresso beans and rock candy sticks were the favorites.

We met some great local vendors!  The team at Celebration Travel gave us great tips on our trip to Bora Bora and the ladies at Tater Box Cafe let us sample the yummiest cakes!  (I suggest the orange cake!!!)  The other planners in the area (Uptown Events and Designer Events) were such sweet ladies and had wonderful booths!  We love the small town feel and that’s exactly what we got today:  local businesses, with friendly staff, willing and eager to help one another.  A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!  Thanks everyone for having us!

A big thank you to Uptown Events and the Manchester/Coffee County Convention Center for hosting the bridal show!
